Dear friends, here some upcoming concerts I'm excited about.  Ned

the Hydraulic Principles of pianolas

Yedo Gibson and I have curated a crazy program at the Pianola Museum in Amsterdam this Saturday at 8:15 pm.

I've arranged my recent work Hydraulic Principles (Ricciotti Ensemble) for the pianola and there are also works by Yedo, Franz Liszt, Frank Nuyts and Conlon Nancarrow.  With Hollas Longton on violin, Nora Mulder on pianola and Keiko Shichijo on piano.

Les Carnaval des Animaux

The coming months I am performing with Zapp4 string quartet on a very unique project of arrangements of Camille Saint Saëns Les Carnaval des Animaux, together with Michiel van Dijk on reeds and Jeroen van Vliet on piano.  It's a great project because of the inventive and playful arrangements and the fact that I get to use my full bag of tricks - classical, jazz, improv, contrabass flute, etc...

Chamundi Hill

Chamundi Hill is a well known sacred hill near Mysore, India and the inspiration for a new work for flute and harp.  To make long, harmonically rich drones I adapted the bowed piano technique to the harp.

It was written for the FluitHarp Duo. Link
